Summary: For two consecutive nights, I had to make complaints: on one night the housekeeping staff forgot to replace the toilet paper, and on the next night they forgot the bathroom mat. On both occasions, I had to call a second time because more than an hour had passed and no one had come to the room. When the towels were finally replaced, they were left in a very careless way — it almost looked as if someone had gone through the bathroom. The liquid soap dispenser was dirty with some kind of residue, and the complimentary cream provided in the bathroom already had its seal broken. The front desk staff could also be more attentive. At check-out, when I mentioned the issues I had faced, the receptionist’s reaction clearly showed displeasure at my complaint. As an additional note: the area has a large number of homeless people (there is a shelter nearby) as well as some drug addicts.
